I came to Chad after 3 years of running/working out on my own. I played soccer at a D1 school and so had pretty decent knowledge of what I needed to do/technique to workout however I was feeling frustrated that my fitness had plateaued - its a lot harder to do it w/o someone there to push you, ya know :). I knew I needed to have someone who could push me and give me a different training to my routine. I was hesitant/unwilling to pay for a gym membership, as I wouldn't have the responsibility to show up, plus I am not a fan of crowds so I knew a one on one was what I was needing. I started working with Chad 1 year ago this month. I was trying to get my body prepared for a total hip replacement the next month. I am the worst kind of client for a personal trainer to have. I HATE to exercise. I have been to many exercise programs and trainers through the years. Chad was great with me. He is completely non-judgemental and positive. I was impressed with how he designed his exercises to address multiple things in a single exercise, like having me stand on my toes for balance and core while doing weights for my arms. He is slightly less expensive than other people I have been to, and he was very willing for me to add friends to my session to decrease my costs (but none of them ever did). I've been going to Chad for about 3.5 months. At 57 years old, my goals were to lose some weight, get strong in my upper and lower body, and core. I also needed to work in some cardio.
